Lauren was always there for me from day one of meeting her. She was an absolute rock, I could talk to her about things I didn’t always feel I could talk to my support workers about. Even when she was on maternity leave, she bought her little boy in for me and kept in touch! She never failed to turn up when I needed support. She checked up on me all the time and showed me I was loved when my family didn’t. After leaving the company, she still stays in contact and continues to visit me when she is free and I am so grateful. She really is phenomenal!

Lauren was my RI and my mentor for 3 years. Lauren saw potential in me, and then nurtured and mentored that potential taking me from a senior support worker all the way to a registered manager. I have taken part in 6 Ofsted inspections across several different homes that have all seen their gradings improve or maintained due to Lauren's guidance and support.

Lauren's knowledge of the Children's Home (England) 2015 is outstanding, and she has the ability to help you not only ensure as a manager that you are meeting the regulations, but also the skills to progress your own learning and understanding of them too.

Lauren is highly child focused and this comes across in everything she does, she truly values a positive experience for all children and young people, and she actively ensured they received this. Across 5 homes, and 12 young people, all the young children knew Lauren, and knew she was a person they could approach, seek comfort or advice in, and would fight for them if they asked her to. Because of Lauren's dedication to my professional development, I have been able to successfully open a brand new children's home as the registered manager.
